  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (3 oz.) can pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

    Melt margarine over medium heat.

    Beat eggs well and add other ingredients; mix well.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with pecans.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 300° to 350° for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
