  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. dark Karo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

    Grease sides and bottom of pan.

    Reserve 2/3 cup cake mix and then combine remaining mix, butter and 1 egg.

    Press into pan thinly and bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350°.

    Combine remaining mix (2/3 cup), 3 eggs, sugar and vanilla.
  5. 5
    Mix well and pour over the browned crust.
  6. 6
    Sprinkle on nuts and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
