Pecan Pie Surprise

   Grease bottom and side of a 13 x 9-inch pan.

   Reserve 2/3 cup cake mix for filling.

   In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, butter and egg.

   Mix until moist.

   Press into prepared pan.

   Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes until light golden brown.

   Meanwhile, prepare filling.

   Pour over partially baked crust.

   Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped pecans.
