- 1 to 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 bottle Karo (dark) syrup
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Beat eggs.

2Simmer pecans in margarine.

3Mix Karo with eggs, flour and sugar.

4Mix well.

5Add pecans.

6Pour into pie shells and bake at 425° for 10 minutes.

7Turn down to 325° and bake for 30 minutes.

8Yield:

9Two 9-inch pies.
