- 4 large sweet potatoes
- 1 tsp. nutmeg or to taste
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. dark brown sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1In a saucepan, put whole sweet potatoes and water to cover and cook until done.

2Remove potatoes and, when cool enough, peel them and mash well, creaming in nutmeg; spoon mixture into a baking dish.

3In a skillet, melt the oleo; add sugar and pecans and cook until sugar is dissolved; pour over potato mixture.

4Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
