Cherry Sour

  • 1 cup maricchino cherries, with liquid
  • 23 cup plain yogurt, strained
  • sugar, to taste

Directions

    To strain yogurt (not included in prep time): place in a sive on top of a deep bowl and keep in fridge about 8 hours (or overnight).

    Remove yogurt into a covered bowl or cup until needed.

    To make drink: Put cherries and their liquid into blender, add yogurt and blend till smooth.

    Taste and sweeten with sugar if need be.

    Pour into glasses, garnish with a cherry and serve.

    Note: you can change up the yogurt for different flavour combo's or you can add a couple drops of extract that compliment the cherry, like almond or lemon.
