- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 2/3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Sift flour three times.

4Add flour and flavorings to sugar mixture, beating constantly.

5Fold nuts into batter.

6Pour into greased and floured tube pan or a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

7Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, or until cake tests done.

8Remove from pan to cool.
