- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs, separated
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 (8 oz.) plain yogurt or sour cream
- 2 to 4 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Set aside 1/4 cup flour.

4Combine remaining flour and soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with yogurt, beating well.

5Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

6Dredge pecans in reserved flour and fold into batter.
