Pecan Praline Bacon

  • 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cups Chopped Pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning (I Used Tony Chacherie's)
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 3 slices Maple Bacon Cut In Half

Directions

    Combine brown sugar, pecans, Cajun seasoning, and maple syrup in a small bowl. Stir together until mixed well, creating a thick paste.

    Arrange bacon on cooking rack placed over a foil-lined baking sheet, making sure they aren't touching. Spoon topping onto individual slices of bacon.

    Place in center of a 375°F oven and bake until done, 25-30 minutes. They must be done in order to crisp and not stay limp.

    When the bacon begins to cool but not all the way to room temperature, remove to a napkin-lined plate or serving dish.
