  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

    Cream butter and powdered sugar.

    Add vanilla and water.

    Add flour.

    Mix well and add pecans.

    Form small rolls 1 1/2 inches long.

    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (300°) for 20 minutes or until delicately brown.

    While hot, roll in powdered sugar.

    Makes 3 dozen.
