  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

    Cream the margarine, sugars and egg.

    Sift the dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture; mix well.

    Stir in finely chopped pecans.

    Chill dough.

    Make in rolls, 1 1/4-inches in diameter.

    Slice thinly and bake on greased cookie sheet 8 minutes at 375°.
