  • 1/2 lb. butter (not margarine)
  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. flour (plain)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Sift flour and salt and add to mixture. Add vanilla. Fold in nuts which have been floured. Bake in oblong or square pan at 350° about 1 hour or until done.
