Ingredients

  • 1 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. soft margarine
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/8 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. white syrup

Directions

    Mix cream cheese, margarine and flour.

    Roll into ball. Chill for 1 hour or overnight. Pinch out 8 balls.

    Press balls into muffin tin with fingers, working up to the top.

    Set aside. In a separate bowl, beat egg.

    Add brown sugar and mix well.

    Add margarine, vanilla, almond extract, white syrup, salt and chopped pecans.

    Put 1 tablespoon of the mixture into each cup.

    Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
