Barbecued Clams

Ingredients
- 3 doz. small to medium clams
- 1/3 c. catsup
- 1/4 lb. very sharp cheese
- 4 strips lean bacon
Directions

1Open raw clams.

2Loosen all parts of clam from shell and keep on half shell.

3Place in baking

4pan that has 1 1/2 to 2-inch sides.

5Place about 1/4 teaspoon of catsup on each clam. Next put 1/2-inch slice of cheese and top with 1/2-inch slice of bacon.

6Broil until bacon is crisp, about 5 minutes.

7Serve with crackers and a salad or may be used as an entree.

8Makes 2 to 4 servings.
