- 1/2 c. butter/oleo
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 Tbsp. soft butter or oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 2/3 c. or more coarsely broken pecans
Directions

1Cheese Pastry:

2Let cream cheese and 1/2 cup oleo soften to room temperature.

4Stir in flour and chill about 1 hour.

5Shape in 2 dozen 1-inch balls.
