- 1 c. softened margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- pecan halves (1 for each cookie)
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Add eggs, beating well. Add flour and salt and mix until smooth.

3Stir in chopped pecans and vanilla.

4Drop by teaspoons, about 2 inches apart, on greased cookie sheet.

5Place a pecan half in the center of each cookie. Bake at 375° about 8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Makes about 6 dozen.
