- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 c. chocolate chips (sweetened milk chocolate)
Directions

1Combine flour, 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup softened butter in a large bowl. Beat 2 to 3 minutes.

2Pat mixture evenly onto bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

3Sprinkle pecans over crumb mixture.

4Combine 2/3 cup butter and remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly. Pour into pan, spreading evenly over crust. Bake at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate pieces.

5Let stand 2 to 3 minutes until chocolate melts.

6Use knife to swirl chocolate.

7Makes 48 bars.
