Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. narrow noodles, crushed
  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 1/2 c. rice (not Minute)
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion or green onion
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. diced green pepper
  • garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 large can chicken broth

Directions

    Brown noodles in margarine.

    Add rice, brown with the onion, mushrooms and green pepper.
  3. 3
    Season with garlic, salt and pepper. Add chicken broth (small amounts) at a time and steam for one half hour or until done.
