- 12 cup butter
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 12 cups nuts, chopped
- 34 cup candied cherry, halved
Directions

1Grease 9-inch pan.

2In a heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt.

3Cook over medium heat until mixture begins to boil, continue cooking, without stirring, to softball stage (234 degrees F.).

4Remove from heat, and cool to 110 degrees F.

5Beat in vanilla, nuts, and candied cherries until thick.

6Pour into prepared pan.

7Cool till firm.

8Cut into 1/2-inch squares.
