  • 1/3 c. condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/3 c. nuts, chopped

    Boil sugar and milk, stirring to prevent scorching.

    Cook to soft ball stage (235° to 240°).

    Remove from heat; let cool after adding butter or margarine.

    Add vanilla.

    Beat until creamy.

    Add nuts.

    Pour quickly into greased pan.
