- 3 large bell peppers, seeded
- 1/4 c. fresh hot peppers (optional)
- 1 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 6 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 bottle liquid pectin
- 3 to 4 drops green food coloring
Directions

1Place the green peppers and hot peppers in a blender container.

2Add a small amount of vinegar and blend well.

3Pour this mixture into a large saucepan and add the sugar and remaining vinegar.

4Bring it to a rolling boil over medium heat and add the liquid pectin; stir for 1 minute.

5Bring to a boil again and boil for 1 minute.

6Skim any foam from the jelly and add the food coloring.

7Pour it into hot, sterilized jelly jars and seal.

8This makes about 4 1/2 pints.
