  • 2 large bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup hot pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups vinegar
  • 6 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 bottle Certo
  • green food coloring (use red if you use red peppers)

Directions

    Use either red or green peppers.

    Remove seeds from peppers; blend peppers in blender.

    Use vinegar for liquid.

    Mix in sugar; bring to rolling boil and add Certo.

    Bring to full boil again, stirring constantly for 4 minutes.

    Skim off foam.

    Pour into jelly jars.
