- 1 12 cups butter, softened to room temperature (NOT margarine)
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions

1Cream butter and eggs until well blended.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Mix the dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture.

4Mix well.

5Form long, finger-size rolls and wrap in wax paper.

6Chill for several hours.

7Slice into 1/2 inch slices and place on baking sheet.

8Bake for 7 to 10 minutes until light brown.
