  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 lb. Fresh jalepeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs

Directions

    Combine cheeses, bacon, and seasonings; mix well. Spoon about 2 tbsp. into each pepper half. Roll in breadcrumbs. Place on greased baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 300° for 20 minutes.
