  • 12 red peppers
  • 12 green peppers
  • 12 large onions
  • 2 c. white vinegar
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. salt

Directions

    Chop (not grind) peppers and onions.

    Cover with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes; drain.

    Add sugar, vinegar and salt and bring to a boil.

    Cook 5 minutes.

    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.

    Yields 7 pints.
