- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1/2 medium onion
- 2 c. water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 stalk chopped celery
- 3/4 green bell pepper
- Worcestershire sauce
- 2 or 3 chopped tomatoes
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Cut steak into 1/2-inch strips.

2Salt and pepper to taste. Brown in a small amount of oil with onion.

3Add 1 cup water and bouillon cubes.

4Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour over low heat. Mix 1 cup water and cornstarch; add to meat.

5Add celery and green pepper.

6Add Worcestershire sauce to taste.

7At the last minute, add chopped tomatoes.

8Serve over rice.
