- 1 lb. steak, cut in 3-inch strips
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. green pepper chunks
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- juice from can tomatoes
Directions

1Brown beef in hot oil; add garlic and cook for 5 minutes.

2Add soy sauce, salt and water.

3Cook for 45 minutes.

4Add vegetables; cook 10 to 15 minutes longer.

5Stir cornstarch and tomato juice together; add to mixture.

6Cook, stirring constantly, until it thickens.

7Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes more.

8Serve over hot fluffy rice.
