Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. thin sirloin tips (cut into strips)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/4 c. chopped onion (I use more)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash pepper
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 c. hot water
- 1 lb. can (2 cups) diced tomatoes
- 1 large green pepper (thin rings)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Brown meat slowly in hot oil.

2Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper.

3Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water; add to meat.

4Cover and simmer slowly for 30 minutes.

5Add tomatoes and green pepper; cook another 30 minutes (or longer).

6Combine remaining ingredients and stir into meat mixture.

7Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes longer.

8Remove garlic.

9Serve over hot rice.
