Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. boneless round steak, cut cross grain into thin strips
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 2 large tomatoes, skinned and chopped
- 4 medium green peppers, seeded and cut into strips
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 1/4 c. beef bouillon or stock
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Brown the meat and garlic in olive oil.

2Stir in tomatoes, peppers, soy sauce, pepper, sugar, ginger and 3/4 cup stock. Cover and cook 20 minutes or until meat is tender.

3Blend cornstarch with remaining stock.

4Stir into meat mixture.

5Bring to boil and simmer 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

6Serve over rice.
