Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 2 green peppers, cut into strips
- 2 lb. beef (round steak), cut into thin strips
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
- 1 beef bouillon cube, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Melt butter in skillet.

2Add onions and green peppers; saute about 2 minutes.

3Remove and set aside.

4Add beef.

5Sprinkle with garlic powder and saute, stirring until browned.

6Add tomatoes and bouillon cube; simmer 10 minutes.

7Mix cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt.

8Stir into meat and cook until just thickened.

9Add onion and green peppers.

10Simmer until ready to serve.
