Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef, cut into thin strips
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp. onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 large green peppers, cut into strips
- 1/2 c. celery, diced
- 1/2 c. beef broth
- salt and pepper
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 3 c. rice or noodles
Directions

1Brown beef slowly in oil.

2Add onion, garlic, green peppers, celery and broth.

3Season to taste with salt and pepper.

4Cover and simmer until tender.

5Thicken with cornstarch blended with water and soy sauce.

6Simmer about 5 minutes.

7Serve over rice or noodles.
