Ingredients
- 1 lb. round steak, cut up
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 c. hot water
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Brown meat slowly in hot fat 15 minutes.

2Add onions and garlic.

3Season with salt and pepper.

4Dissolve cube in boiling water.

5Add to meat.

6Cover and simmer 30 minutes.

7Add tomatoes and green pepper and cook 10 minutes longer.

8Combine cornstarch in 1/4 cup water.

9Add soy sauce.

10Stir into mixture and simmer 30 minutes on low heat.

11Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Serve over rice.
