- 2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 green peppers, cut into strips
- 1 cube beef bouillon in 1/4 c. hot water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of garlic powder
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Brown meat in melted butter.

2Cook about 1 hour.

3Remove meat; add onions and green pepper.

4Saute about 2 minutes.

5Return meat with tomatoes and bouillon cube dissolved in 1/4 cup water.

6Add soy sauce, sugar and salt.

7Stir into meat mixture and cook until thick and tender.
