Ingredients
- 1 lb. top round steak
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 green pepper, cut in 1-inch squares
- 2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Slice steak diagonally into 1/8-inch thick strips.

2(Steak will slice easier if nearly frozen.)

3Melt butter in skillet.

4Add onion and cook until limp.

5Remove from pan.

6Add meat to skillet and brown on either side.

7Return onion to skillet.

8Dissolve bouillon in water; add to meat, cover and cook about 15 minutes. Add green pepper and mushrooms.

9Cover and cook 5 minutes.

10Add salt, pepper and wine; let cook 5 minutes longer.
