  • 4 cups ketchup
  • 1 bottle (10 ounces) A.1. Steak Sauce
  • 1 bottle (10 ounces) Heinz 57 Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups apple Juice or apple cider
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

    Combine all the ingredients in a large, heavy, nonreactive saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

    Continue simmering, uncovered, until richly flavored, 5 minutes, stirring or whisking to prevent scorching.

    Use right away or transfer to jars, cover, cool to room temperature, and refrigerate.

    The sauce will keep for several months.
