- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. flank steak
- 1 chopped medium onion
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 pkg. McCormick/Schilling brown gravy mix
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 large green bell peppers
- 1 large tomato
- cooked rice
Directions

1Thinly slice flank steak, diagonally.

2Brown with the onion in the oil.

3Stir in the mixture of gravy mix, water and soy sauce. Stir until thickened.

4Cover and simmer 30 minutes.

5Add bell peppers, cut in thin strips, and the tomato, cut in wedges.

6Simmer 10 minutes.

7Serve over rice.
