Ingredients
- 1 lb. (1/4-inch) sirloin tips, cut in serving-size pieces
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 c. hot water
- 2 c. cooked tomatoes
- 1 large green pepper, sliced in rings
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Brown meat.

2Add onions and garlic last minute.

3Season. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water and add meat.

4Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.

5Add tomatoes and green pepper.

6Cook 10 minutes longer.

7Combine remaining ingredients and stir into meat. Bring to boil.

8Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes longer. Serve with hot Chinese noodles or rice.
