- 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can beef broth
- 1 medium onion
- 2 medium green peppers, cut in strips
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and cut in wedges
- hot cooked rice
Directions

1Slice meat across the grain into 2-inch strips.

2Brown steak in oil in a skillet over medium-high heat 4 to 6 minutes.

3Add beef broth and next 4 ingredients.

4Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.

5Combine cornstarch, sugar and soy sauce, stirring well.

6Add to beef mixture.

7Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

8Remove from heat. Add tomato wedges; toss gently.

9Serve over rice.
