- 3 lb. favorite steak, cut into strips
- 2 large onions, cut into rings
- 2 large bell peppers, cut into strips
- 1 large can tomato juice or 1 can stewed tomatoes (if desired)
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 4 c. cooked rice and season to taste
- 4 Tbsp. cooking oil
Directions

1Cut and season steak.

2Roll in flour.

3Heat oil in large skillet and brown steak strips on all sides.

4Add onions, peppers and 1 cup water.

5Simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

6Add tomato juice, tomatoes and sugar.

7Simmer 30 minutes, covered. Serve over bed of rice.
