- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steaks (1/2 inches strips)
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 cup onion, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cups cooked rice
Directions

1Season steak with paprika and rest at room temperature while preparing remaining ingredients.

2Sautee crushed garlic, add steak, and brown gently. Careful not to burn the garlic.

3Add sliced onions, bell peppers and continue to cook until vegetables are wilted.

4Add diced tomatoes and beef broth.

5Cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes.

6Combine water, cornstarch, and soy sauce.

7Stir into steak and cook until thickened.

8Serve over freshly cooked rice.
