  • 1 pound round or flank steak cut in thin strips
  • 1 minced onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 2 green peppers cut in strips (mixed peppers make the dish colorful)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

    In a heavy skillet heat oil. add meat, salt, pepper, onionand garlic. cook over moderatley high heat. stirring constantly untill meat is browned.

    Add bouillon and green peppers cover and cook over a low heat 10 - 15 minutes

    Blend together cornstarch, soy sauce and water. Add to pot and cook 3 or 4 minutes longer stirring constantly untill mixture hot and sauce is thickened
