- 1 12 lbs round steaks
- 12 cup flour
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 14 cup cooking oil
- 1 (8 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 12 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon gravy beef base (beef)
- 1 12 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 large green peppers, cut into strips
- hot cooked rice
Directions

1Cut steak into strips.

2Combine flour, salt and pepper.

3Coat meat strips.

4In large skillet, cook meat in hot oil until browned on all sides.

5Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid.

6Add tomato liquid, water, onion and gravy base to meat in skillet.

7Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hours.

8Uncover, stir in Worcestershire sauce.

9Add green pepper strips.
-
10Cover and simmer 15 minutes.

11Add drained tomatoes.
-
12Cook about 5 minutes more.

13Serve over hot rice.
