  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 -3 tablespoons butter or 2 -3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 medium green pepper, sliced
  • 1 (12 ounce) jarheinz beef gravy
  • 12-1 cup water
  • flour

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350.

    Season steak with salt & pepper.

    Brown steak with butter & onions.

    Transfer to baking dish, with little drippings and arrange sliced green peppers around steak.

    Add gravy and water to slightly cover.

    Cover dish with foil and bake 2 hours.

    Wisk flour and water, add to dish and cover for an additional 10-15 minutes until thickened.

    Serve with rice or egg noodles!
