- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dried leaf basil, crumbled
- 1/4 tsp. dried leaf thyme, crumbled
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted and divided
- 2 lb. potatoes, peeled and very thinly sliced
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onion, divided
Directions

1In small bowl, combine salt, pepper, basil and thyme.

2Place 2 tablespoons of butter in 10-inch nonstick skillet.

3Line the bottom of skillet with overlapping slices of potatoes in circular pattern; sprinkle with part of salt mixture, 2 tablespoons of onion and 4 tablespoons of butter.
