- 1/2 lb. peppermint stick candy
- 1/2 c. light cream
- 1/2 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin dissolved in 1 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
- 1 (9 or 10 oz.) can chocolate wafers
Directions

1Crush candy; add light cream and heat in double boiler until candy dissolves.

2Add gelatin dissolved in cold water.

3Chill until partially set.

4Fold in whipped cream.

5Break chocolate wafers in half and stand around outside of 9-inch square pan. Place layer of wafers in bottom of pan; spread remaining gelatin mixture and top with crushed wafers.

6Chill 12 hours.

7Cut in squares.

8Serves 9.
