Pepperoni Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. Provolone cheese slices

Directions

    Let bread dough rise according to directions.

    Roll out to a rectangular piece.

    Combine egg, parsley, oregano, garlic salt and Parmesan cheese.

    Spread onto dough.

    Top with pepperoni and cheese slices.

    (Sometimes I also add slices of green pepper and onions.) Roll up dough, starting at long end and pinching ends.

    Brush the roll with melted butter.

    Bake at 350° for 35 minutes on jelly roll pan.
