Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 1 banana, small
  • 14 red bell pepper
  • 14 green bell pepper
  • 14 cup tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 14 onion, large
  • 1 pinch ginger
  • 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1 tablespoon almonds, blanched, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salted peanuts, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon raisins, soaked in
  • stock

Directions

    Place chicken, wine, water, salt, pepper and the bay leaf in a casserole and boil for 20 minutes.

    Drain, reserving liquid and discard leaf.

    Skin thighs and return to casserole or a large skillet.

    Place liquid and all other ingredients (except for the almonds, peanuts and raisins) in a food processor and blend.

    Cover chicken with this mixture and cook for 45 minutes over low heat.

    The next day add the almonds, peanuts and raisins before warming to serve.
