Pepperoni Rolls Recipe

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 c. very hot water
- 1/2 c. lukewarm lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. melted butter
- 3/4 pound pepperoni, sliced very thin
- 3/4 pound white American cheese
Directions

1Dissolve yeast with sugar in very hot water.

2Mix 2 c. flour with salt.

3Add in lowfat milk and butter to flour.

4Mix well, then add in remaining flour and knead till smooth and elastic.

5Let rise till double in bulk.

6Punch down and divide into three balls.

7Roll out on floured board, very thin.

8Divide pepperoni and cheese into three equal amounts.

9Layer over dough, pepperoni first and then the cheese.

10Roll up tight like a jelly roll, healthy pinch ends and bake 30 min.

11Grease top with butter as soon as you remove from oven.
