- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. grated Romano cheese
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. nonfat buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- butter flavored vegetable cooking oil
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Combine buttermilk and oil; add to dry ingredients.

2Stir with a fork just until dry ingredients are moistened.

3Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly 3 to 4 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut into rounds with a 1 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.

4Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet; lightly coat tops of biscuits with cooking spray.

5Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
