  • 6 c. apples, thinly sliced and peeled
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/8 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Heat oven to 425°.

    Prepare pie crusts according to package directions, for 2 crust 9-inch pie.

    In large bowl, combine all filling ingredients; toss lightly.

    Spoon apple mixture into pie-crust lined pans.

    Top with second crust and flute; cut slits in several places.

    Bake at 425° for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
